Help ! PHP Melt Down !

I had went to a Website that had inspired me with an idea. On this site it had a ' Top Bar ' that had short Text Messages, be it " Come back and visit our site " or " Today's special ", and so on. This Text would appear and then disappear, and then new Text would appear. It's kinda like a Sports Arena Coming Events Billboard.
Can someone please help me on this? I can't find such a script.

This sounds like javascript to me.

Additionally, people on this board won't provide you with script, they only help make your current script work.

go back to that site - do "view source" of the web page and you will see a whole lot of html and near the top links to the javascript - it will take some figuring out from there..

A really simple and low-tech way of providing something similar would be with <marquee> - not as pretty but allows you to show lots of content in a small space...

I did wonder about this! I don't think I've ever used it myself to be honest - maybe back in 2000...? 🙂
