can anyone recommend a news headline component for PHP to display news, perhaps something similar to the news.google.com..

If you look at the bottom of news.google.com, you see there's an RSS feed: http://news.google.com/news?pz=1&cf=all&ned=us&hl=en&output=rss
I would imagine you could probably fetch an RSS news feed from google (or bazillions of other news agencies) and parse the RSS in your page either in PHP or using a Javascript widget.
A quick google search yields this: http://apptools.com/phptools/xml/rss.php
no. what I want to show my own news from my own database but I want to know how and where to get a good news component which will display it the same way google displays it or maybe better..
