Contact Form: [e-mail]????

Hi,
I've made a contact form using php from a tutorial on the internet.
It all works perfectly, But my spam filter is not letting is though and more its got a chaptcha and everything! why might this not b getting through?

But my MAIN PROBLEM is its saying all emails are coming from [e-mail]
what is this, does anyone know??
I've done 3 different tutorials and all of them say the emails are coming from [e-mail]!!!!!

WHY!???

Ive found know other forums with people with the same problem, so to me it makes no sense.

Can anyone help PLEASE!?? 🙂

NOTE: I obfuscated the e-mail by adding an 'example' domain in there, just in case poor Joe doesn't want to get spammed even further by the bots crawling the web in search of victims.

Not much we can say without seeing the code you're using to send out the e-mails.

One possibility is that either PHP or your local MTA is configured with '[e-mail]' as the default 'From' address, and your PHP code used to send out the e-mails isn't explicitly setting this header itself (thus either PHP or the MTA is just adding in the default value for you).
