Hello,

not sure if this is the right forum or not but i am hoping someone can help with a redirect (or canonical url).

Basically, this is what I am trying to set it up:

dev.site.com/wordpress/ redirected to dev.site.com/

I have googled and attempted different methods but nothing is working.

Not real sure what it is you're after based on that description, so here's my guess...

RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^/?wordpress/$ / [R]

sorry, I don't think I explained it right. I wanted to keep the site under the wordpress directory but I wanted it to point to just the site.com url...

Anyway, I also just found out Wordpress fixes this in the admin (under general -> setting), so I am actually all set for now.
