From server need to download the plugin file and auto install in local machine

Hi,

Need help in doing following task.

On my web page, on click of a button, Need to download a .exe file from server and install it automatically to local machine for first time.

Note: some thing like installing a plugin for first time from a web page.

All PHP can do is send the file to the client with any desired MIME type and other headers, but it cannot do the actual installation since it (PHP) runs on the server.
