How can i change the lenght of uploaded mp3 files using php?

Hello every one..

I wonder if anyone knows or can just point me in the genral direction. I need to upload files on to my server. Then i need my server to cut the files into 1 minuite long previews for a music store.

The full lengeht file will be given to people when the pay for a song. But the problem i am having is how to make a preview. I want php to chop the file down to 1 minuite.

Any help much apreciated!

there's nothing in native php to do that, but im sure there's other apps you can run from the command line to do it.

I cant belive you useless idiots.. f$£(@() nerds talking crap all day long about easy s$% anyone can do .. but when something hard comes up you all run away...

Anyway i think i found it without your help.. I think its to do with ffmpeg..
