Login using server details

I have an internal intranet site which i want to build a login screen for, this server is on the same network as the PC's which the user will connect from.

how i user the users network Lan login and password to verify them?

On the server, which HTTP daemon software and OS are you running? On the client PCs, which OS are they running?

What you're talking about is commonly referred to as a Single Sign-On or SSO type of login. For Windows clients, you'd want to look into using NTLM authentication.

EDIT: You really need to elaborate on what you're trying to do... are you asking how to take a given username and password and verify it against... something? If yes, what is that "something" ? If no, then what are you trying to do?

Against the users LAN username and password which they sign on into the network with.

My network is

global-rd

I'm not sure if the intranet server is on ther same server or another though.

My login for example is

There's no such thing as a "LAN username and password", nor can you "sign on" to a network. A LAN is simply a group of devices connected together in a network segment that is isolated from the vast Internet network.

Perhaps you were actually referring to something like Microsoft's Active Directory, Novell's eDirectory, ... ?

Server is windows based. Client PC is windows XP but it's on a major network.

OKay so i've not idea about this, is there a way of finding out without needing IT help as each ticket i ask them costs money.
