I'm searching for a class which can make it easier for me to handle my search website. I cannot use FULLTEXT-searches as I'm using innodb as engine and I would love if the class could sort the results accordingly after relevancy (most similar words).
Not asking for someone to write it, just tips if there are any good classes out there. 🙂
Lucene springs to mind. Or use a DBMS that manages to be ACID-compliant and support full-text searching at the same time.

The first seems hard to just throw in like a class, and is as of today only working with the Zend framework? The second, well I am not really up to changing database. 🙂
Maybe Sphinx Search? (I've only read a little bit about it but have not tried using it yet.)
