Just been looking at getting one myself, to use websockets with. I have been primarily looking a Hostgator.com. The price, with the cPanel, ($40) is comparable to everyone else I have seen. They also offer a $16 VPS, but no cPanel with it.
Also I think Lunarpages.com will install cPanel for a small additional monthly fee.
I have worked with website hosted by both these services over the years and had no problem with either.
Also, most VPS's offer cPanel and if its not included you can usually add it for a monthly fee. I would guess that technically any VPS service would allow you to install cPanel if you have bought a license. Its like owning your own server, you can install what you want, to a point.
Also if you need some more info on any service provider you should check out webhostingtalk.com. It has a huge number of members and everything you need to know about web hosting and server hosting can be at least answered there, if it hasn't been already. Usually before purchasing a service I go there and do a search for the companies name. It good way to get an unbiased review of most companies.
