Testing jQuery App in multiple enviroments

So I've tested my new site in latest version of IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera on windows 7. However I know I need to be able to support older browsers and on other operating systems.

I wondering how you guys handle this testing, as other than IE (Developer Tools -> can use IE9 IE8 and IE7) I don't know how to test older versions, I also don't know happen to have access to computers with other Operating Systems on them to use.

If I really want to test something out in a different O/S, I usually just create a virtual machine on my main desktop PC at home. At one point I even had Windows 95 running on my Win 7 native OS just for fun.
