Undefined index at wamp

I installed apache, php, mysql on windows 7 x64 and tried to CMS program.
I can see phpinfo(), but this page has "Undefined index" errors.

This problem shows only wamp system, but I uploaded this CMS program to linux server, then this CMS program works fine.

Is there any setting problem ar wamp system or php.ini prolem?

The problem has nothing to do with PHP and everything to do with the code. As the error message states, there is no index 'path' in the $g4 array.

Either you have different error display/reporting settings, or your script depends on the deprecated "register_globals" configuration, which is enabled on one server but not on the other. (If the latter, this is antiquated PHP coding which should be corrected, as opposed to just turning on register_globals.)

@: Er... I'm confused; how does register_globals have anything to do with $g4['path'] being undefined?

If a form element was defined as name="g4[path]", it would show up in a modern PHP script as $POST['g4']['path'] (or in $GET). I'm jumping to an assumption that with register_globals in effect it would be available as $g4['path'], but I'll admit I don't know for sure if array notation in a form is supported that way or not (since I've never coded using register_globals).

Yes, I found the problem is "register_global" as you explained. The Linux server's phpinfo() shows "register_global = On", but the windows server's phpino() shows "register_global = Off". Also the windows server's php version is 5.3.8.
