Hi there I wondered if somebody could have a look at http://www.norlets.org.uk and offer me some ideas as to why the logo on the left is a different height to the larger banner on the right, even though they are same height (please ignore the duplication of the logo in both)? I have find adjusting the padding variables acceptable cannot get them to line up. Any suggestions greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, Mark
*I have tried adjusting the padding variables etc but cannot get them to line up… Bloody speech software! :-)
Might have sorted that for you ..... replace this bit - have a look at the difference to your version
</TITLE></HEAD><BODY><table align=center cellpadding=15 cellspacing=0 id="mainTable"><tr><td valign=top id="header" align=centre><a href="index.php"><img src="http://www.norlets.org.uk/images/localx_logo.png" alt="NorLETS logo" border=0></a>
well.... i would suggest getting rid of the <table>'s and use css.
Why is the image inside an <h1> tag? Remove the <h1> tag and it lines up properly.
Remember that <h1>, <h2>, etc. are block elements whereas images are inline elements.
Thank you all for your input, you are bloody marvellous! Problem solved but doubt I will be back… :-) Regards, Mark
