Hi All, I'm a newbie in php, and I just build my first web site www.forma3d.pl
When you go to "kontakt" page and submit the form a screen shows up and (it should read but it does not) reads "Twoja wiadomość została przesłana do Forma 3D. Odpowiemy tak szybko, jak będzie to możliwe. Pozdrawiamy.
Za kilka sekund powrócisz do Forma 3D." Instead of ś,ć,ł,ó,ę,ż I get some kind of scandinavian characters. Please go to the site: http://www.forma3d.pl/kontakt.html and send a form if you have to. Thanks in advance.

It sounds like some kind of character encoding issue. There are several things you need to check:

First, the character collation used in the DB. It's generally preferable to use something like utf8_unicode_ci for the text and varchar fields.

Then, make sure that your HTML is being read as utf8. This can be done by either (although it's good to do both if you can) adding a line into your PHP as the first output:

header("Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8");

The second part is to add in a utf meta tag to your HTML as the first element inside the <head> tag:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />

That should fix the problem you've got.
