I don't generally play with mod_rewrite (or .htaccess) for that matter. My philosophy is to get the URI correct the first time. So, this is a noob question, I'm sure, if you're familiar with the syntax for that module.
My problem: I've got a product installed from a vendor that broke their backwards compatibility, and I need to rewrite a var in the query string.
#somevendor sucks
RewriteRule %{QUERY_STRING} thefoobar=foo
RewriteCond justfoo=foo [R]
This seems to break Apache. Hints? I'd really like to fix this soon; a broken link went out in a promotional piece this morning...
