[RESOLVED] content form code help?

Hi ~
This is my first visit and post, so if I'm in the wrong place or incorrectly posting, forgive my newbieness.

I followed a very detailed you-tube vid on creating a contact form, which I have inserted into a basic html page to experiment with.

The php code displays in the form fields used for data entry as well as above the image header of the html page.

It's my first php coding attempt, so am not able to find the error. What files do I need to upload for anyone to view and be able to help me with this?

The problem is that your webserver didn't send the file through the PHP interpreter in order for it to get parsed for PHP code. As for why the webserver didn't do this, I'm guessing you didn't rename the file to have a .php file extension?

Resolved! yeah! My web page form was contact (dot) html which referenced a contact (dot) php file, so a simple change of the html file to contactus (dot) php worked.
