[RESOLVED] JavaScript not executing function

I am updating all my html content to make my site more spunky but the problem that I am having is that my JavaScript stopped working after updating the html. Now I was doing this same exact thing before the update where I would do:

This option was working before but now it will not load the "fillDiv" function. I have made sure that the fillDiv script is added too. Of course when I do this:

print("<script type=\"text/javascript\">fillDiv('displayArea','".$data."');</script>");

It works but then I would have to go back through every single one of my 50 files and update to that. The only content that I run through print or echo is javascript.

I would love to still be able to use my first idea for the ease of things. Any idea why this would stop working suddenly? Maybe something I can check out.

What does the generated output look like? The PHP code is essentially irrelevant - the only thing that really matters is what the client (more specifically, the client's browser) can see.

The output is blank in the html but in the background(firebug) you can see the code.

Well right now I am running an error console and getting the following errors, which I am not sure if it would throw off the js or not...
