What is wrong in the following code?
I could not debug it

It gives me the following, NO not know what to do???

Your quotes are messed up, look at that line with syntax highlighting:

echo "<tr>\n<td align=\"left\">" ."<a href="\"displaycart.php? action=add&ampid='.'$record['id']"\">Add to cart</a>";

It should be like this (in fact for simplicity sake I changed to single quoted string, so you don't have to escape the html attribute quotes):

echo '<tr>\n<td align="left"><a href="displaycart.php? action=add&ampid='.$record['id'].'">Add to cart</a>';
