[RESOLVED] PHP Form Mail Honeypot

I am a newbie having difficulty making a honeypot work (to stop spambots submitting form on website).

I have attached txt files of the HTML form and the PHP form mailer. Currently the form emails results & shows the Thank you URL both when the honeypot trap is empty and filled in. I need it to not send an email when the "commenttest" field is anything other than blank.

I am hoping it is simply a matter of having entered the code in the wrong order... more likely I have made a complete mess of it!

I hope someone can help, I really want to learn how to get it right!

you are not getting the value of 'commenttest' anywhere

add this at top of formmailer:
$commenttest=$_POST['commenttest'];

note:
you can actually do the same thing with a hidden field:
<input name="commenttest" type="hidden" value='' />
spam bots will generally fill every field - hidden or not - looks nicer on screen

also its MUCH easier for everyone if you paste your code directly into your post and use the forum PHP tags (under 'Go advanced') to display it nicely
