Develop Helpdesk Systeam (Ticketing)

I am new in PHP kindly request to you please help me...I want to develop Helpdesk system i.e ticketing based. Please advice me what Can i use for the same and what I should be learn like. AJEX, Joomla, Wordpress, Zend. which I want to learn with PHP & Mysql.

My advice would be one of the following:

Use an existing open source solution. After all, why reinvent the wheel when someone else has already poured hundreds, thousands, or more man-hours into making one better than what you'd end up on your first attempt?
Look at a few existing open source solutions and see how they were made. Pick out certain high-level features and dig through the source code to see just exactly how they were implemented.
Hire a developer (or two or ten or fifty) to do it for you. (Wanting to learn new technologies is great, but you don't see a new artist who's never painted before asking someone to teach him how to recreate the Mona Lisa from scratch.)
