Payment gateway - query.

Hi Guys ,

Does anyone know some open source or free payment gateways , if not free than very cheap one?
Basically have online gallery web - project, where you can buy now , or negotiate and then buy a product.
Once it goes to 'buy now' then the payment should be processed.

PayPal is not suitable for auction (many sellers to many buyers). Any other ideas?

This is just the project so I didnt really initially consider that as was no need.
We all know that payment gateway and processing is very complex and difficult , but still would be good to have something.

free no, no one is going to process payments for free there is very real costs involved. I don't know why you think paypal is not suitable for auctions? I dont know what country you live in, so cant name any specific ones, the first place to check with is usually your bank.

The web is for artist who can sell an art , what if artist have no paypal account , or what if artist and buyer have no paypal account? How this can be handle?

buyer does not need paypal account, to pay via paypal (with credit card). How where you planing on the seller getting paid at all? I would of thought all payments would go in to a 'site' account then distributed from there.

Yes , you right , buyer doesnt need to have paypal account..

I don't know what payment gateway would let you easily pay a large number of people directly, i think you will have to have one account for all payments then distribute the funds from it.

I havent go that far with the payment. I'm stopped with buy now up to now. Just 'finalize payment' stuff has left. Thanks for advice , This is just the project so I might provision something as mentioned above:

buy now(payment) - > site account - > send to particular artist.
