changing time from united states to GMT from database

basically im selecting infomation from a table

echo $row['time'];

but because the server is in america its showing american time what can i do to change it to gmt time?

i insert it using the following (with other fields):

$sql="INSERT INTO pm (date, time)
VALUES (NOW(), CURTIME())";

would i amend the way i insert or the way i output the infomation?

Assuming MySQL, and assuming that times are stored according to the server's timezone, UTC_TIME.

yes mysql and the server is set as usa as thats were its located, i need to no how to ammend the time, like $row['time']+6, not that way of course

The United States has eight different timezones. But to answer your question, read my previous reply.
