Building Powerpoint documents from individual slides

Hi guys,

I want to build a locally hosted PHP application that allows users to build and export a Powerpoint document by choosing a selection pre-agreed slides.

For example:
I have over 100 individual Powerpoint slides. I would like users to browse them and choose any number of of the slides to build a PP document. Once they are happy with their selection they can export the document as a Powerpoint document to edit (if they like).

I'm comfortable creating the browsing and selection functions but don't know where to start in terms of building and exporting the PP file.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Something like that it may be simpler (assuming you're running this on a Windows server), to use PHP's [man]COM[/man] or [man]dotnet[/man] extensions to control PowerPoint through its API.
