jQuery quick help

I don't have any experience with jquery yet, Never worked with it before and I found this blog post : http://www.alessioatzeni.com/blog/login-box-modal-dialog-window-with-css-and-jquery/#blog

A jquery popup with css styling, It looks good but it's not fit my needs, I want to tweek it a bit more.

I just want it to appear as soon as the page is rendered without clicking on anything in the site it should appear automatically as soon as the site is loaded.

It's currently working when you click on an "a" link

So instead of wanting it happening when you click() an <a> element that has a class of "login-window", you want it to happen as soon as the document is ready.

Yes that's correct.

without changing the script at all, simply adding

$( 'a.login-window' ).trigger( 'click' );

(after the click handler is defined) should do the trick.

Or change the handler from a click on an <a> element to a load of the document (figuring out how I leave as an exercise for the reader.)

why what doesn't work? what did you try?

You need to describe:
...what you did
...what you expected to happen
...what actually happened
...what you did to try and solve it (or even just where you think the problem might be: i.e., any changes you made from the working version in the article you got the script from).

People are far more likely to help you solve a problem when it's obvious that you're trying to solve it, as opposed to just saying "it doesn't work" and waiting for someone to fix it.

I would also recommend posting the problematic code itself (not a zip) using the forum's BBCode tags, and/or linking to the page you're actually working on (or a "demo" page, e.g., using jsfiddle). These things make troubleshooting much, much easier.
