How to create a search engine for the database values?

I want to create a search engine for my sample project.In that i use search engine and if i type any values means it searches into database and displays whether the values is in database or not...

Right now i am creating a website for employee registration form.So i created database also along with 10 fields (in database i.e name,fullname,designation,location like this...).So i wan to search this fields values from database. Suppose if search for name means, it checks the value into the database and displays whether having any name in the database or not...

Note: Like google search i want to create for my website.
