why is the webpage downloading a file called newredirect.php instead of running it

I'm installing an open source game called ogame, after installing and setting it up, everything works fine but when someone tries to register an account and hits the submit button, it immediately downloads a file called newredirect.php instead of performing the actual thing, any ideas ? thanks 😕

What is the content of that file? It looks like your server isn't properly set up for some reason, and it's serving newredirect.php with the wrong MIME type (something you can check) - namely as a plain file or something your browser doesn't know what to do with, instead of as text/html.
