I have 'is_dir' verifying an alias to an external directory. On my wife's laptop "is_dir" returns true, but on my iMac it returns false. The alias on my iMac is pointing to the right directory and the permissions are right for php to read from the target. What am I missing? I am at my wit's end, but that ain't saying much.
