I'm in a bit of a quandary about what bits of PHP I should be looking at in order to achieve my end goal, and would appreciate some suggestions.
I've included a picture of my page at the moment. It's a 'Getting Here' page, with a Googlemap image on the left (in the box) showing the specific destination. I want the directions on how to get there to appear on the right. You'll see some simple made up instructions on the right at the moment. Once the full directions are added, the page is going to become very long, and I don't want that. Therefore, I am hoping to find a way to display the directions from each city, as and when people request them. The directions from the local town will display as default, but once someone hits the City1, City2 or City3 link, then the text will change to the full directions of how to get there from their chosen city. Does that make sense?
There are two things to bear in mind, 1) if would rather stick with link/text to make the changes, but will go with buttons if there are no other options; 2) I don't want the page to reload every time some chooses a different city, I just want the text to change over
Is this even possible? I'm thinking some kind of array perhaps, but then again I've lost as to how the text links would work with calling and changing the arrays. I would just like to know if this is even doable, especially without reloading the page, and if so, what/where should I be looking for inspiration?
Thanks guys!
