[RESOLVED] Controlling Browser Caching...Any Ideas?

I am in the process of loading images from php code that generates the html code and upon loading into the web browsers, MSIE, FF, and Safari I cannot get "New" uploaded images to be recognized by the browser as the old images are continuously displayed? I have attempted several meta tag cache controls such as pragma etc. I did as well attempt the trick of time stamping each image file which as well failed. Anyone out there have any ideas?

You can try some header() tricks, e.g.: http://php.net/manual/en/function.header.php#111283

PS: the above would only apply if you are using some sort of image-server PHP script, but may not do anything if you are talking about image files being referenced directly from <img> tags. For this to work, you'd need the img tag to reference a PHP script designed just to serve up your images, giving it a some identifier in the image src url that tells it which image to fetch (typically via readfile() after outputting your headers).

Your provided link to the php site allowed me to observe that the "Time" statement was better utilized with a "Time stamp" on the image file src rather than a date an time combination which continually failed. Your help is greatly appreciated and if you ever need anything give me a shout....
