Im coming to the end of development on my php web app. I need some ideas on how to prevent users from selecting duplicate items from dropdown menus.

example: I have 8 dropdown list that are populated by a MySQL query/array all with the same choices. Users need to pick from the lists without picking duplicates.

That's javascript's cuppa tea right there....

unless you just want to filter the list prior to pushing it out of the server so there's no way in Hades they could even try to have dupes ... 😃

Or just use one multi-select drop-down?
