I am having trouble understanding a couple of little snippets from the code beneath:
// Displays “71%, 83%”
echo preg_replace( “/\d+\%(,| )*/”, “”, “14%, 59%, 71%, 83%”, 2 );
The thing i can't understand is why this is needed:
I don't understand what needs to be multiplied,, becoz it looks like its multiplying nothing.
And i don't understand what (,| ) does. To me it looks like its saying:
a comma 'or' a space
but it can't mean that, surely??
