Wow this stuff is a PiA compared to MySQL/PHP. I've been working on raw-coding my own scripts for my wife's office. I don't see that there are a lot of references to this stuff here, but I've gotten used to sorting out problems here. The documentation I've found so far has been remarkably verbose and obtuse.
First question: Are certain fields in a RETS database not set up to be searchable? It seems I can use filter strings on some fields, but not others. Anybody out there familiar with this? Any way to sort out from the metadata how to tell which is which in the case that this is actually a characteristic of such databases?
