Yes. You shouldn't have any trouble as it looks straightforward enough.

I think in Javascript you'll have to declare the vars before referring to them. And remove the dollar signs. And PHP's array() function becomes "new Array"

var myVar = new Array('item 1', 'item 2', 'item 3');
