I am using windows properly but I want to know about Linux to my knowledge. Does Linux is a command based operating system? Someone clarify me please.

    Is there anyone to reply me? Does I ask a meaningless question? Please someone reply me at least with yes or no. Or elaborate the problem.

      Linux has graphical user interfaces just like Windows (point and click, icons, menus, programs). You can work in the terminal or command line as much as you'd like as there are pretty much applications for both the GUI and the terminal for anything you'd like to accomplish. The main difference would be that the desktop experience is much more customizable in linux, due to the seemingly endless choices in desktop environments and window managers.

      To give you an idea, here's my desktop on Debian:
