I tried to install this PHP 5.4 by manually and follow exactly all steps based on this site http://www.php-tutorials.info/installPHP.php.

But I encounter a problem when comes to Editing Apache Configuration (refer to

5.2. Apache 2.2.x

based on the link attached) where I cannot save my editing. Whenever I tried to save it, an error message will appear saying that "Access is denied".

    You need root access, for *nix typically either by using su to become root, or by opening the file with the help of sudo.

        I solved it already. I just run the notepad as Administrator and do editing there. Now can save the edit. Thank you.
