As I don't make much, I think I decided against it. Although I suppose I might be convinced otherwise for technical reasons like this one.

Also, if you really want, I can spend some time re-itemzing why I chose PHPStorm over other paid and free alternatives. I remember HATING NetBeans quite a lot when I used it. I also had negative feeling towards ZendStudio, Eclipse, Sublime and Komodo.

I could write a book about why I chose PhpStorm over the plethora of alternatives (paid and free). I have even convinced the entire office to switch from their IDEs/editors to PhpStorm.

I hate it. I admit, it was my first "real" IDE (I used the free version, Komodo Edit - the paid version is called Komodo IDE, just for clarification), and I loved it at first. But then it went steadily downhill. I have an old thread here in the Lounge about it. Once I tried PhpStorm I think I was hooked in the first 15 minutes. Never looked back, don't think I ever could.
