New project?

I'd say compared to quite a few of you guys I'm still at a basic level, I can kind of use PHP, jQuery, JavaScript, SQL, CSS and of course HTML, currently I want to start some new project to force me to learn something new but I'm drawing a blank, any suggestions would be welcomed

Build your own blog application so you can post stuff about some hobby or interest you have, so that you have some motivation to do it while it has none of the unneeded features something like WordPress would impose on you.
