So I was sitting eating down at the river and I was thinking what interesting things does everyone else see on a daily basis? (no cheating you must take the picture yourself :p)

View from my desk at work -- midtown Manhattan seen across the New Jersey "meadowlands".
A turtle (about a foot long) that showed up in the tidal pond outside my office last week (shot with my phone through the binoculars my cube-mate has at his desk).
Heh cool didn't know turtles just wondered around like that over there.

I lived in Boston for 10 years so I know how tiresome the snow gets when it hangs around for months. That said, I really miss the snow. It doesn't even rain but a few times a year in Los Angeles.
