tbh I'm starting to think I should delete most of it and start fresh, what do you think?

Well, I read someplace just recently, "great software happens via iteration".

That is, you make something. Then you make it better. Then you do it again. And, at some point in the future, it's been improved enough that you stand back and can say, "Wow! This is nice!"

So, I might not throw it away. That said, it's just the very top of a page/app, right? In the end, it's up to you. Does is do what it needed? Are you happy with how it looks? Do you think your users will like it?

It does what I expect it to do for the most part, when I try to do what I want to at least, it's more looking at the code when looking at it in an editor that seems to not sit right with me if you get me? The css I was planning to eventually put in one file but over all I think maybe too many languages are used on the one page? Maybe I'm over thinking always looking for ways to minimise the amount of code used and refine

Well, that's kind of the essence of "iteration", although it could cross the boundary into "refactoring". And that's the whole topic of discussion here, I guess.

The css I was planning to eventually put in one file

Perhaps that's the place to start?

I'll fix my css files tonight then melt my brain on more normalisation, mapping and EERM's should be a fun night

File size now about 3400 lines long, didn't know I had written all of that at the time, maybe could remove some of the repeating rules :rolleyes:
