Which one should I use??? Command Prompt or phpmyAdmin??

Hi guys. I am currently in the process of reading a php book and in the book there is a section on using the command prompt window.

But if I already have phpmyadmin, is there any point in me using the command prompt window?

Considering that the two are for different things (PHPMyAdmin is a graphical interface for working with MySQL) then....yes, there is.

Assuming we're talking about using the command prompt to enter MySQL commands, one reason to get at least some basic comfort with it is that it's always available in whatever environment you're working, whereas phpMyAdmin might not be. Once you have enough experience with it that you know what to google for when you do need to use it, you can then use whatever you prefer most of the time. 🙂
