jQuery mobile

I was talking to someone I know who works for a company, according to him jQuery mobile isn't really used by anyone, is that true? I was told if I want credited for year two I have to do this

Well, I've only done a couple things for mobile. So far, no jQuery usage.

That's hardly a representative sample, though, eh? :-)

Heh true, I still have a "predigest" against using frameworks, I mean maybe for you, nodog, weedpacket, Derokorian ect. it'd be fine but since I still suck I try and avoid using them until I get to a point were I can actually do everything for myself

Two-edged sword. I typically haven't used many either, not so much because I didn't want to, but because we were already built on something else and can't change it (practically speaking, insert "afford to" ... at least in management's eyes).

I've played with WP and Drupal, looked under the hood at Magento (scary) and some others, but I wouldn't call me anything close to a framework expert or even a framework "user" for the most part. I usually prefer to do things myself as well ... that may earn me the dreaded "cowboy" badge ... 🙁

Still never actively used WP and Drupal but I did like action script three, we done some in year one and it seemed fun
