I am swedish and live in Sweden.
Although there is a version to download pre-configured in swedish,
I always prefer to download the english default version.
So, I installed wordpress in default english.
Then I started to see if I could download files for swedish and install them.
I did a lot of searching to find such files to download.
While I did this I browsed my wordpress files.
Then to my surprise there was a new folder and files in my installation.
Folder 'languages' was there. Was not there before.
Inside the folder was 8 files for swedish.
I could simply go into admin and enable swedish as chosen language.
Wordpress had actually discovered my swedish location
and created the 'languages' folder with all swedish files inside.
Without me asking for it.
All this shows how developed Wordpress is.
I dont really like Wordpress, but I have to be impressed :bemused:
