Website accessibility issue!

Hi,

Recently, we have been getting many complaints from users saying they are not able to access the website. I thought it was due to some cyber attack. But, during a discussion regarding the complaint, my friend asked me to analyze whether the website has affected by the DDoS attack.

I don't know much about the term or how it occurs! If anyone has any idea about this, please let me know it as soon as possible. I have tried my ways to find the details and came to know about the companies offering cybersecurity consultations.

What do you think of approaching this kind of companies for a service? Kindly let me know if you have any other suggestions. Thank you!

You should be able to view your web host access logs to analyze the traffic amount and usage patterns, then you can at least determine if it is, in fact, too much traffic (whether DDOS or not), or whether you need to look for other possible causes.

If you don't have someone on staff who can figure this out, I'd look into finding someone you can pay for that. That being said, whom to ask is a good question. And can you please include a disclaimer that you don't, yourself, work for NCI.ca ? 😉
