You know better than me, although it doesn't really seem like writing code without a bunch of clear fixes and additional JavaScript to make it do everything, it's almost heretical.... I need to stop listing to warhammer 40k lore videos in the background
I love Flexbox, personally - use it on pretty much all my sites now. With auto-prefixers (or .less or .sass libraries) it's good to go from IE10 on up - 9 and down aren't supported, but everything below 9 is pretty much dead by now anyway, right?
It might be ok, getting used to grid-template-columns and fr ect. will take a bit of time, I hate design at the best of times
