    Wouldn't be surprised if a lot of it was Python, as that seems to be the go-to language these days for people doing data processing and analytics in the astronomy world -- and they had lots of data from the several separate radio telescopes to comb through and merge into one "image" (what we saw being a graphic representation of the radio signals they processed).

    It does seem a language that has a lot of use, I've never really looked at it
