threaded discussion question

So I'm looking for a way to impliment a threaded discussion list. My problem is that most versions available are a slashdot type setup which makes you have to use there code and then you insert your html inside an existing template. The problem is that I have the page setup to grab the articles how I want them to and wrote an admin backend. What I need is threaded discussion code that can be used as an include tag inside my existing code. And I need it to be able to intergrate it into my news database. You could download the phorum software from phorum.org and use its threaded engine, but you probably just need to write your own to suit your specific task.

I was curious why phpbuilder.com is using. Is it custom written for your site?

Yes Tim, what is this site using for the threaded discssions? I want to add this feature to my LUG site, and I've just started poking around for some example code. There is a php package called SIC (Site In a Can), that has a threaded comment feature I may swipe, but I'd love to know what your using.
