I just want to know that how can I uninstall MySQL from my machine (Red Hat Linux 6.2). rpm -e --nodeps mysql command didn't works.

Well, what i did is uninstall anything and everything that had to do with mysql, apache, php. Then I went to rpm.org and got the latest and greatest, of each one of them. and intalled it. I tried the tar ones but i end up with the same problem of not being able to connect.
