How does the Sybase tag read
for this MySQL tag?

$id= mysql_insert_id();

(If my english are to poor🙂

I need to have that tag translated
so that I may use it in Sybase.

There is no sybase_instert tag
so, my question is..
What to put there instead?

try running this sql query :

select @@identity

This should return the last inserted id for your sql session
