PHP_SELF limited to 17 chars

Strange problem when we upgraded to PHP Version 4.0.1pl2. Its running as ISAPI on Linux with Zeus 3.3.6.

$PHP_SELF is now limited to 17 chars.
This means that before $PHP_SELF could have been "/news/scripts/business/news4.php?id=4324" it is now "/news/scripts/bus" on the same page..

Any ideas why this has happened? It is the difference of running as a cgi to running as isapi? Or is it a bug in 4.0.1pl2? Posted it in the bugs list on php.net, but no comment as of yet.
