I don't know anything about php or mySQL yet but I have heard it's better then asp, so there for I want to learn php and mySQL. I have downloaded and installed php on my computer and I'm running win 98 and PWS. Now to my questions: Is it possible to install mySQL on my computer? or do I have to install Linux? I looked at www.mySQL.com for a version of mySQL for win 98 but i didn't find it. Can anyone tell my where to find it?

I think mySQL for Windows is no longer free. To get it, you either have to pay for it or be on the development team.
Try the mirror download sites, you might be able to find more information there ...
I would try one of the mirrors - the mysql main site has changed and mirrors when I last looked hadn't kept up with the change - I dowloaded the latest win version of mysql and understand that the conditions havn't changed - it never was free but you could trial it etc. etc.
