setlocale for the Netherlands ??

I'm using php to build a website, which should support the englishe language, german language and dutch language.
My problem is that I want to format the date/time to dutch (among german and english), but I don't have a clue what or where to find the setlocale variable for dutch (or holland or netherlands or whatever).

I tried setlocale ("LC_TIME", "xx_XX"); where xx_XX is: nl_NL, du_DU, nl_DU, du_NL and some more I can't remember now, but obviously they are not correct as the string returned is us-format.

Please help.

Hi,

I think I have the solution for you:
I'm writing from Brazil, and I was needed that the date must displayed in Portuguese, and from Brazil..

I get tired to try with "pt_BR", "pt_PT", bla bla.. and this wasn't working(just like you). Then I tryed put "portuguese" and worked! After this, I putted "portuguese_BRAZIL" and worked even better!

Just to remember:

setlocale ("LC_TIME", "portuguese_BRAZIL");

We used:
setlocale (LC_TIME, "dutch_NETHERLANDS");
in stead of "nl_NL" and this works perfectly!
